GREAT pics Sean! Thanks for sharing! Really great pics of the kids. It's funny... the other day during the Missions potluck at church, Chey and I were noticing how much Tyler looks like Jessica's dad! But then... in some of these pictures, Tyler reminds me of pictures of my brother when he was that age. He's like the perfect white asain kid!

Yes, for some reaons my genes seem to be making a come back. Tyler has light hair and green eyes. Most mixed children that I have seen are beautiful kids.

Hi Sean !

My name is Zigfred Diaz and i am from Cebu. I stumbled across your blog when I was surfng the Master's academy website.

I had been a frequent listern to John MacARthur since 1995 when I was went to school in Manila. Grace to you Radio airs Manila unfortunately we do not have a grace to you broadcast here in Cebu.

Since that time on I had been "hooked" on Grace to You. I just was just so blessed with the Spiritual Riches that Scripture has to offer through the expository messages of John MacArthur. I couldn't believe what I was hearing ! I had been a Christian since 1986 and have been faithfully attending a Baptist Church but it was not until 1995 that I have somewhat "unlocked" a Spiritual treasure chest.

I had been a frequent visitor in the Grace to you Center in Cubao when I was in Manila. I was a regular borrower of tapes and I often called in to ask some theological/biblical questions. (Unfortunately GTY closed it down and all donations and all inquries in Southeast Asia are sent to Singapore)

Now I am in Cebu and I listen to Grace to you via the internet. I am a regular GTY Singapore supporter and as the Lord provides, I will soon be supporting TMAI Philippines financially.

Years ago when I searched the TMAI website I was sadened that there is no TMAI in the Philippines.

Now I am so glad that we have TMAI in the Philippines ! Now if only we could bring it to Cebu !

I am really not a pastor but I have often been called to preach in churches. My day job involves running our family corporation, lawyering, teaching, securities analysis (stock market), running a blog, writing books etc. (I wear several hats professionally) You can read my blog at www.zdiaz.com. It's a mish-mash of my day to day experiences as a lawyer, business person, teacher, investor, blogger, preacher and other personal experiences etc. :-)

I have not finished Bible school yet but I am somehow working on it through distance education. I plan to further supplant my Bible school training by taking subjects at a Bible school in a local church near our area. Sadly the emphasis in Bible schools here are not on expository preaching and the emphasis of the Distance education Bible school that I am taking is on apologetics. But anyway, I try to learn and glean from these courses whatever there is to learn.
(I wish The Master's Seminary or TMAI has a distance education program on Expository preaching !)

When I preach I use most of John MacArthur's outline and messages and I always get a feedback on how blessed they were with the message. God's Word surely accomplishes what it intends to do !

I have the following burdens for our area the Visyas and Mindanao:

1.) Somehow we could translate GTY messages into Visayan and broadcast it in radio stations. I know the Lord has placed a burden upon me, I just don't know yet where to start, how to start it or if he will provide for this financially in the near future or how to go about it.

2.) TMAI in the Visayas area particularly Cebu! People in the Philippines are so thirsty for the pure unaudulterated Word of God ! I hear so much lousy, little boop beep preaching from the pulpit. I really appreciate TMAI emphasis on expository preaching. I hope this area of ministry will develop soon. Although I've learned a lot already from John Macarthur on expository preaching, I certainly hope I can continue formalizing my expository preaching studies.

My Father in law is senior pastor of a church which also runs a Bible School in Negros Island. I have introduced him to Grace to you and John MacArthur. He appreciates the materials so much. I keep on supplying him with books, audio and video messages from GTY. I hope somehow in the near future Lord willing we can run TMAI in his Bible School.

Hope to get in touch with you from time to time and may the Lord somehow help us realize the burdens that we have on how to expand His kingdom further in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.
